Brittany & Travis – Glacier National Park Engagement
Brittany and Travis came all the way from Minnesota for engagement photos in Glacier National Park and I hope you can agree that they were well worth the trip! And since they were already here for photos they thought they might as well make the most of their trip and so they camped, explored, hiked, and took advantage of everything that Montana has to offer. Ok fine, maybe having fun in Montana was their main reason for coming, but engagement photos was definitely up there!
Travis and I met, of all places, in a bar. We are both quite tall and we just locked eyes across the room over everyone else’s heads, and we have been inseparable ever since.
We live in Rochester Minnesota with our dog Euchre. Our wedding will be June 3rd, 2017 at Four Daughters Vineyard and Winery in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
We both love being active and outdoors. Our trek to Montana started as an annual family camping trip. I had seen so many beautiful pictures of Glacier National Park and had always wanted to go.
When we got engaged I was determined to have our engagement pictures taken while were at Glacier. We were so lucky to come across Marianne Wiest’s pictures when researching photographers online. The photoshoot was relaxed, fun and full of breathtaking scenery. Some of our favorite photos came from Marianne’s impromptu stop that lead us out into a secluded field of golden high grass initially hidden by the surrounding trees with the perfect mountain backdrop. Marianne gave us exactly what we asked for and then some. Our pictures came out amazing and we had such a fun vacation. We enjoyed hiking and swimming in the park as well as the farmer’s markets and breweries in nearby Whitefish. I had never had a huckleberry before our trip and tried everything from a creamy huckleberry shake to a delicious huckleberry bear claw from the Polebridge Merchantile.
We had a wonderful time in Montana, and thanks to Marianne we have amazing pictures to prove it!
