Glacier National Park Wedding Venues
Although there are many more fantastic wedding venues in the surrounding area and within 60 miles, these are the venues that I consider close enough to the park to be considered a Glacier Wedding Venue.
From historical lodges to breathtaking views, these Glacier National Park wedding venues will make your mountain wedding dreams come true.

With a name like D’Juliet how can it not be one of those most beautiful and romantic shoots of your life!? This bride and groom eloped in Glacier National Park in October. It was a cold and windy day, which actually a whole element that I absolutely fell in love with. Drama and action and adventure! When we were on the shores of the lake there were gusts that blew water onto us! Hair and dress blowing in the wind, I loved every second of this wedding. And I couldn’t stop talking about her dress!!!! I just couldn’t get over how it fit and moved and took your breathView full post »
In the northwest corner of Montana sits a hidden gem of the earth. It is a park so naturally beautiful it is known as the “Crown of the Continent.” It is North America’s Swiss Alps and in my opinion, there is no better place to be married. It is jaw-droppingly gorgeous, romantic, and adventurous. I love taking photos everywhere, but I never feel as inspired as I do when I’m in Glacier photographing weddings. Hopefully you fall in love with this little piece of heaven (it was actually used in the movie What Dreams May Come as heaven) as much as I have. Here’s a link toView full post »
This elopement was photographed in the thick of one of the worst fire season’s in Montana and Glacier National Park’s History. Days before the bride called me and asked if I thought we should cancel it. They already had their license and all the details were in place but the air was considered hazardous, and was honestly, ugly and disgusting. But I had a spot in mind on the river that I had used before when the clouds were low and you couldn’t see the mountains and I told her that I thought it would make for beautiful photos. So we went for it! And I’m so glad we did.View full post »

These are what elopement dreams are made of. Sweet and simple. Perfect lighting, epic mountains. Cute couple. Family and love.
A lakeshore ceremony, mountains surrounding them, the fish jumping and making perfect little rings in the mirror-like water.
This is why people travel the world over to be married and celebrate their love in Glacier National Park, one of the most beautiful spots on earth.
From the bride.
Could you give me just a short background to how you met, your relationship, and engagement?
We were childhood friends and started dating in college. We dated for 7 years beforeView full post »
My amazingly talented husband put together this little behind the scenes video during an engagement shoot up in Glacier National Park on Lake McDonald. I love it so much. So many people dread having their photos taken and I hope this captures a little taste of how fun and special having your photos taken can be.
This beautiful song is by Shayla Smith and can be purchased here https://shayla.bandcamp.com/track/loved
Shayla is a local artist and also does music for weddings, which is ALWAYS a treat for me!
Here are the photos from the shoot. And in case you were wondering who thisView full post »
This beautiful High School senior grew up right outside of Glacier National Park, so what better spot to do her photos then in and around the park? We started the session at her family’s ranch in Martin City, Montana, stopped at the Middle Fork of the Flathead River for some shots and then ended the session on the shores of Lake McDonald. A fitting way to close this chapter of her life.View full post »
This all started in 2016 when Scott and Megan Lester bought a 65 acre retired seed potato farm 1 mile north of Reserve on Whitefish Stage so they could live with their three children and Megan’s parents. They immediately remodeled the old farmhouse on the land for Megan’s Parents. From there they cleaned up the farm in preparation to build their family home on the land.
On New Years day 2016, Scott and Megan started talking about how they had this great farm, with great 25 year organic soil, an irrigation well, and how it would be really cool to grow vegetables for people in theView full post »
Many Glacier is well worth the extra 2 and 1/2 hour drive from Kalispell for an epic elopement in Glacier National Park. It’s weddings like this that are why I love being a Glacier National Park Wedding Photographer.
From the Bride:
We are high school sweethearts. At the time of our wedding, we’d been engaged for 4 years. We spent that time accomplishing goals we set for ourselves as a couple, such as graduating college, starting our careers, building a home, and planning our dream wedding. Staying true to ourselves as individuals and as a couple was our jumping off point for planningView full post »
Brittany and Travis came all the way from Minnesota for engagement photos in Glacier National Park and I hope you can agree that they were well worth the trip! And since they were already here for photos they thought they might as well make the most of their trip and so they camped, explored, hiked, and took advantage of everything that Montana has to offer. Ok fine, maybe having fun in Montana was their main reason for coming, but engagement photos was definitely up there!
Travis and I met, of all places, in a bar. We are both quite tall and we just lockedView full post »
